We are excited to launch the Public Beta for accessing granular Revit geometry data via AEC data model.
With the AEC data model API you can now retrieve granular Revit geometry including element origin, axis, and resolved representations directly via API. Geometry can be exchanged as IFC v4 (geometry-only) or used more powerfully in-memory through mesh data objects using the Data Interoperability SDK, enabling real-time workflows.
BIM Managers can auto-generate Room Data Sheets, Casework fabricators can extract custom elements like lobby desks and bring them into fabrication tools to accelerate detailed design with precise geometry. Beyond procurement and fabrication, in-memory geometry workflows make it easier for teams to run analyses, perform quality checks, generate takeoffs, and iterate on designs without the delays of repeated file handling.
Ensuring geometry can flow seamlessly into both Autodesk and non-Autodesk applications, breaking down silos and empowering greater collaboration across disciplines. And because the data is accessible in a consistent and structured format, it also opens the door to AI-powered agents that can classify, optimize, and generate design insights faster than ever before.
Join us in this exciting beta and give us your valuable feedback.
